What is CDRI?
The Cannabis Dispute Resolution Institute, (CDRI) is the world’s first arbitration organization which is focused on the cannabis and hemp industries. CDRI offers business-to-business arbitration and mediation to resolve disputes in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner.
Just like any other globally-traded commodity, cannabis should have its own dispute resolution process. With the conflict between Federal and State laws and regulations, it is important to choose the right arbitration organization, the right arbitration clause, the right arbitration rules, and the right arbitrator. CDRI can help you meet all of these requirements.
The CDRI offers the cannabis and hemp industries (collectively referred to as the “cannabis industry”) the ability to resolve disputes through the legal system, restoring a right which is effectively denied at this time.
The CDRI’s mission is twofold:
(a) to help resolve disputes between cannabis industry members; and to help resolve disputes between cannabis industry members and providers of goods or services to the cannabis industry and
(b) to provide legal stabilization and regularization for the cannabis industry in the form of enforceable contracts and industry-specific dispute resolution procedures and standards.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WEB SITE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. MUCH MORE INFORMATION ABOUT CDRI, ARBITRATION, AND HOW TO RESOLVE YOUR DISPUTES WILL BE ADDED IN THE COMING WEEKS.
We thought it was important to get this information to you, so the fancy web site, the graphics and logos, will come later. If there is some information about CDRI or arbitration which you are not seeing here, let us know and we will answer your questions and add the answers to the web site. Thank you for your understanding.
